Sworn translation prices
On this page you'll find the current rates from DIZHA TRADUCCIONES for all our sworn translation services. Our main language pairs are Russian, English and Polish into Spanish, though we also work with other pairs. Separately, we offer notarial translation from Spanish into Russian for Russian government bodies.
The original translation is the PDF with the translator's electronic signature. Under Spanish law this is the legal original of the document, not an "electronic copy". You receive the file by email - printouts are rarely needed and you can generate them yourself from the official MAEC portal.
Same rate for everyone. We work online with all of Spain and with clients from other countries. The price doesn't depend on where you are - Madrid, Barcelona, the coast, the islands, other European countries, the US, the CIS.

Notarial translation for Russia (ES → RU)
A separate service - for documents you need to file with Russian bodies (Registro Civil, courts, banks, notaries in Russia). It's done from Spanish documents into Russian via remote notarial certification in Russia.

Amendments to the delivered translation
Changes not caused by the translator - name transliteration on client request, additions after delivery, wording adjustments requested by the client - are charged separately. The price covers making the change and re-certifying the translation by the sworn translator with a new electronic signature.
- For RU→ES and PL→ES: up to 50% of the original document price.
- For EN→ES: per page, based on the number of sheets where the text changes.

Urgent rate availability is confirmed by the manager and depends on the translator's workload.

The pricing method depends on the document type. Certificates, degrees and other standard documents have a fixed price based on their composition. Contracts and powers of attorney from Russian are priced per word, with complexity coefficients applied. Multi-page documents in English are priced per page, based on content density. The prices shown in the tables are from the base rate - we send the exact quote for your document after reviewing the scans, usually within 30 minutes during business hours.
Prices in the tables are shown without VAT. For clients in Spain, 21% Spanish VAT is added. For clients outside Spain, VAT doesn't apply - the service export rule kicks in. Exception - translations from English (contracts, certificates, UK/US documents): for this pair the prices are final, VAT doesn't apply regardless of your location. The final invoice amount depends on your country and status (individual or business), we confirm this when preparing the quote.
Included: the sworn translation by a translator from the MAEC registry (Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores) and the final PDF file with electronic signature, which under Spanish law and the EIDAS Regulation is the legal original of the translation. For notarial translations into Russian, notarial certification in Russia and a scan of the certified document are also included - postal delivery of the paper copy is paid separately on request.
We specialise only in written sworn and notarial translations and do not offer: interpreting at a notary's office or in court, legal advice on procedures, document processing at consulates. Outside our service: apostille on the source document you arrange yourself in the country of issue; postal delivery of the paper version - on request with separate payment.
The standard rate is delivery in 1-3 business days with no surcharge. The urgent rate is delivery up to 1 business day with a surcharge on the price. Urgent rate availability is confirmed by the manager - it depends on the translator's workload and document volume. The exact calculation of deadlines and surcharge is provided together with the quote after reviewing the scans.
In the vast majority of cases - no. The PDF with the sworn translator's electronic signature (PAdES) under Spanish law is equivalent to a paper original with handwritten signature and stamp. All Spanish official bodies and banks accept the electronic format. If a specific organisation requires a printout, you can generate it yourself through the official signature verification portal - each page shows a side panel confirming the signature's validity.
